Yes. For Coins to Cash™ service, we charge a 11.9% processing fee in Canada.
No. Coinstar accepts any quantity of unsorted coins in your local currency. Coinstar's patented technology allows our processors to filter out foreign coins and other debris. However, these items may not be returned by our processors so it is a good idea to remove them first.
No. There is no need to roll your loose change in wrappers. Coinstar counts unsorted change in minutes and then prints out a voucher that can be exchanged for cash or groceries at the checkout.
Yes. Because Coinstar reimburses each store for the transactions that are processed through the Coinstar Centre at their location, we instruct our store partners not to cash vouchers processed at a different location.
